Chest infection due to cold

I was suffering from a chest infection due to cold for a few days. I catch cold at least once in a month. My ears and nose remain blocked, and it is like I am accustomed to it. This time, after medication, the chest congestion has disappeared, but my ear is still blocked. This does not happen normally. I am worried as I hear cracking sounds whenever I try to gulp down any liquid. My nose gets blocked when I am about to sleep. I have tried using sprays that normally help me to get relief from blocked nose or ear, but they are not helping this time. I am at a loss about what to do.

If you are that prone to cold, take precautions in the right way. Congestion occurs many a time due to dust; it is important that you know what is causing the problem. As for your ear and nose still remaining blocked, contact an ENT for the right treatment. There might be a possibility of accumulated water inside your ear. Get your ear checked for wax or secretion of any fluid from behind the eardrum. It is advisable not to bathe for a few days; keep yourself wrapped in warm clothes and drink pl
